WHO WE ARE
The Sean O’Blenis Memorial Scholarship is established to celebrate the life of Sean O'Blenis, the son of Wendy O'Blenis. Our mission is to give opportunities and financial support for young boys and girls to activities that Sean was passionate about.
A note from a parent of a summer camp scholar (2019):
"… I am so, so, so incredibly grateful to you. Lauren describes this camp as "Hogwarts School for Muggles". MSSM is a place where being smart is cool. She comes home with such joy and confidence that she literally stands taller. … This is far more than a summer camp, it is literally laying the groundwork for her future. ...it is incredibly sad to know that this fund was created after the loss of Sean, who sounds so full of life and taken far too soon. It is truly beautiful that your family has transformed such a painful loss, taking some of Sean's happiest experiences in his short life and gifting those same experiences to other children. …"
